"Lifetime" Warranty:

KESTREL warrants that your Kestrel product (frame, fork, handlebar) will be free from defects in materials or workmanship during the time the original consumer purchaser owns the product, and will be free from cosmetic defects for a period of one (1) year from date of consumer's purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage from accident, misuse, normal wear, alteration, improper assembly, improper maintenance or abuse.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH THE PURCHASER MAY HAVE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION WITH RESPECT TO STRUCTURAL DEFECTS TO THE TIME DURING WHICH THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER PURCHASER OWNS THE PRODUCT AND WITH RESPECT TO COSMETIC DEFECTS TO ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF CONSUMER PURCHASE. Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, as above limitation may not apply to you.

At it's option, KESTREL, will repair or replace a defective frame or fork or handlebar owned by the original consumer purchaser free of charge, except for the dealer labor and shipping. Contact KESTREL at the address listed below, or your KESTREL Dealer to obtain service under this warranty. Proof-of-Purchase (i.e., Warranty registration or bill-of-sale from an authorized Kestrel Agent) is required before any warranty claim is processed.

Repair or replacement shall be the sole remedy of the purchaser under this warranty, and in no event shall KESTREL be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, losses, or expenses. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state.

"No-Fault" Warranty:

If your Kestrel frame, fork or accessory is damaged in a way not covered by the foregoing warranty - an accident, for example -KESTREL will exchange it for a new product (of similar model type and value to the damaged product) at a greatly reduced cost to you.

Your replacement cost will vary depending on the age of the product, but will be no more than 65% of the current manufacturer's suggested retail price at the time of the exchange. Ask your dealer or KESTREL for details and the current replacement cost. This offer applies only to the original consumer purchaser for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the product.
